A daily animal-sign puzzle

PoopGuessr is a small daily guessing game: look at one wildlife photo, make up to six animal guesses, and use the clues to narrow down the answer.

The game is inspired by the joy of recognizing tracks, droppings, feathers, and other field signs. It is meant to be playful, but the animal facts behind the clues are hand-curated.

How the puzzle is built

Each answer is selected from an ordered daily deck so old puzzles stay stable. Guesses are compared by animal class, diet, habitat, region, and typical adult size.

The photos are open-license images, mostly from Wikimedia Commons, with attribution shown after a round so the source does not spoil the answer.

What it is not

PoopGuessr is not a scientific identification service. Field signs vary by season, diet, age, and location, so use the game as a learning prompt rather than a definitive wildlife guide.
