Image Credits and Licences
PoopGuessr uses open wildlife photos for the daily puzzle. Credits are hidden during a round to avoid spoiling the answer, but every image record keeps its source page, author, and licence here.
269 credited images across 88 animal folders.
How credits are handled
Puzzle images are reviewed before use and stored with attribution metadata. The game shows the relevant photo credit after the round, and this page lists the complete source set in one crawlable place.
Most images come from Wikimedia Commons. Some records may come from other open sources such as iNaturalist when source metadata is available.
Corrections and removals
If an attribution looks wrong, a licence has changed, or an image should not be used, send the animal name and source URL through the contact page.
