Otter
A waterside carnivore whose signs are strongly tied to rivers, coasts, and wetlands.
Game clues
- Habitat is the biggest clue: rivers, wetlands, and coasts matter.
- Diet points away from herbivores that also live near water.
- Size is modest, usually below beaver and far below larger mammals.
When the habitat cells point toward water but the diet is carnivorous, otter becomes a strong candidate.
